Former Miss Americas in AC
2004
One of the most exciting things about going to Atlantic City in September is catching up with the many Miss Americas who return every year to welcome in a new sister.
For one week in the fall, you might see them at the pageant, parade, rosewalk, autograph signing, or simply walking the boardwalk.   They are always happy to share a word with MAO fans and hear the familiar refrain of "I remember when you were crowned!"
This year some formers like Heather French and Katie Harman performed at the pageant.   Others, including Illinois' own Judy Ford Nash (1969) and Kate Shindle (1998) were announced onstage during preliminary competition nights and got the opportunity to walk that famous ramp.   You also saw them posing on the rosewalk, and showing their shoes in the boardwalk parade.
Please enjoy these photos from pageant week of former Miss Americas.
